The Hague Camslide Micro Go camera slider is designed specifically for small cameras like the GoPro, Insta 360 or other lightweight cameras. This compact and lightweight slider is ideal for creating smooth tracking shots.
The rail can be used on the floor, ground, table, or mounted to a tripod by the rails 1/4" threaded hole in the centre of the rail. The rail's end supports should always be attached, as they prevent the carriage from coming off the rail.
The camera is usually fastened directly to the carriage and secured with the camera screw, or alternatively a small ball head could be used between the carriage and camera to give greater adjustment.
Some action cameras, such as the GoPro, have a tripod mount that allows the camera to be tilted up or down, this makes it ideal for mounting the camera directly to the carriage. You can then set the camera's position, lock off both the Camslide's camera screw and the tilt knob on the camera, and then you are ready to create your slider shot.
If the rail is mounted to a tripod, you can use the head of the tripod to tilt the camera up or down. You can also use the tripod head to hold the rail in a vertical position to create vertical slider shots.
