The Manfrotto 501PLONG extra long spare Camera Plate for 577 Quick Release Adaptor and Manfrotto Tripod Heads 501/503/519. This longer version of the standard plate allows perfect balance for camcorders with unusual weight distribution caused by long telephoto lenses or heavy batteries. The plate has a laser engraved scale to help identify the optimal positions, in order to have a maximum range of balance positions. It also has a VHS location pin.
