The Swit S-8845 is a replacement battery for the Canon BP series BP-945/BP-970G, and it is compatible with the Canon XF100/105 and EOS C300. With 7.2V nominal voltage, the Swit S-8845 has a 47Wh / 6.6Ah capacity and can run approx 7 hours on a XF105 when the LCD monitor is on and approx 4.5 hours on the Canon EOS C300.
The Swit S-8845 incorporates a 5.5/2.1mm pole-tap DC output socket on the side of the battery for DC 7.2V (Nominate) connection. You can also connect on-camera LED lights, a monitor or wireless transmitter to the pole-tap socket and this will allow you to get power simultaneously alongside the camera. The Max power from the pole-tap is 30W, 4A. The Pole-tap socket can also be used as a charging input using the Swit portable charger S-3010D.
The S-8845 Swit battery has the 4-level LED power indicators to check the remaining battery capacity and you can also get a quick view of the capacity before using it.
The Swit S-8845 can be charged on the Swit Dual channel charger S-3602C and it takes about 4 hours and 30 minutes to charge from empty to 100%. You can also use SWIT S-3010D Portable Pole-tap Charger for S-8845 but it will take around 7 hours to fully charge.
