Can be used on top of a monopod or other brackets to change the angle of the camera. Tilt Head with quick release camera plate system and secondary safety lock makes it easy to remove the camera from the mount. It has a 3/8" Threaded hole in the base with reducer ring for 1/4". The camera plate is compatible with Manfrotto heads using the 200PL camera plate. This is not a Manfrotto product.

All the components to this products feel really well made. The quick release system feels very secure, and even comes with a locking pin for added peace of mind that the expensive camera on the end of it stays put. The female std thread on the bottom, and the male std thread on top make this product far more versatile than you'd think. The female thread on the bottom is flush (not recessed), so it can fit on a wide range of accessories (including the powerheads from cameragrip). Highly recommended!
